This helps make our driving lessons the perfect gift for someone wishing to take up driving. Before taking your practical test all students in the UK must pass their theory/ hazard perception test prior to this. Many students can find this harder than the practical test so here at Zone we offer Hazard perception training at the following rates: £20 an hour, £35 for 2 hours and £65 for four hours. You can find more information on our hazard perception lessons by clicking here. We can also fit this around your driving lessons to maximise your output.
Here at Zone School of Motoring, we provide two options when it comes to learning how to drive. You can learn to drive a manual car which involves changing the gears yourself, or automatic where the car does this for you. Manual driving isn’t for everyone as it can result in stalling the car multiple times for beginners, which can become incredibly frustrating for students. It is said that because of this, automatic cars are much easier to drive as all you need to worry about is steering the car and controlling your speed. However, many people prefer driving manual cars as it allows the driver to feel more control of the car. Although the choice is ultimately up to the student, it is important to remember that when passing a test in manual, you are legally allowed to drive manual and automatic cars. However, when you pass in an automatic car, you are only allowed to drive automatic cars. We recommend automatic driving to students who don’t feel confident in their driving ability. Whether its Automatic or Manual you wish to drive. The first step to gaining your full drivers license is by obtaining your provisional driving license which can be done by clicking here. Everything you need/want to know about driving can all be found in the highway code by clicking here.
